- Going to Cincinnati and
Kings
Island for the weekend.
- Welcoming Chris home this weekend.

Big News! Miriam and I got approval for the house we were looking at. It has two bedrooms, a large kitchen, living room, and a bathroom with a shower and spa. We have saved enough money to pay for the whole house without having to take out any loans. We plan on moving in during the middle of August. Of course, the little necessitys of a house will be lacking until Miriam’s bridal shower (Hint!). If you want to see pictures, follow the link below:

I went to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this weekend with Miriam. We are both fans of the original movie and have waited in eager anticipation for this movie since it starred Johnny Depp and was directed by Tim Burton, a duo that seems to never go wrong; that is, until they collaborated on this movie.
As to be expected, the scenery dominated in the film. Scenes of the main candy room, Charlie’s house, and the city in which they lived were classic Burton and they were wonderful because of it. Unfortunately, Tim Burton seemed to think that the story needed deep plot development. The story of Willy Wonka could have stood tall on imagery alone without a need to explore the inner depths of Wonkas childhood through tedious and poorly done flashbacks.

I have not updated this blog in a long time. I have been working somewhere between 11 and 12 hours a day, five days a week. I have to get Pat to Boy Scouts on Tuesday and I volunteer Thursday night at Grandview Hospital until ten o’clock at night. I have no semblance of any social life at this point and I have found that I am thrilled when I even have time to read my anatomy books for ten to fifteen minutes a night. I am just so beat! I would love to go running everyday but it has been dark when I leave for work and when I get back. I guess what I am saying is that I miss being in college already. I still have two more months of this! Oh well, there is no other way to make enough money to pay for school, gas, and living.
By the way, I am planning on taking a trip to Cedar Point with a bunch of guys from Campus Crusdae. If anyone is interested, let me know. Also, I am getting married in November and still need to find two groom’s men. I have been given the deadline of July 19th to find the other two people. Is anyone interested?
